Competing is a choice for the dancer and his/her family. The majority of the students at the Murphy Highland Dance are competitive dancers.

Competition is a wonderful way for the dancers to be rewarded and acknowledged for their hard work. Competition helps to build confidence, strength in character, life-long friendships and memories that last a lifetime.
